The current FORBES MAGAZINE estimates MARIA SHARAPOVA, since winning WIMBLEDON last year, has garnered at least $15 million in endorsement deals.
On NBC's WIMBLEDON coverage, analyst MARY CARILLO noted of Sharapova's marketability -- "What does it say that someone from SIBERIA is tennis' version of THE ALL-AMERICAN GIRL?"
