BOB DENVER, whose classic television roles include the part of MAYNARD G. KREBS in THE MANY LOVES OF DOBIE GILLIS and the title role in GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, is recovering from quadruple heart-bypass surgery.
According to THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, Denver, 70, had the surgery less than two weeks ago, after heart problems were revealed during a check-up.
The actor is recovering at his West Virginia home.
