More than 1 million APPLE IPADS have been sold as of Friday, only 28 days after its initial release -- a milestone that took the IPHONE 74 days.
iPad users have downloaded over 12 million apps from the APP STORE and over 1.5 million ebooks from the IBOOKSTORE.
The new 3G version of the iPad released on Friday sold briskly over the weekend with Apple Stores in several large cities reporting that they ran out of the new models.
