IPHONE/IPAD Multitasking And Redesign

(From Cynopsis)

Multitasking and a completely redesigned interface featuring folders to organize your apps with are just two of the changes coming to the new IPHONE/IPAD TOUCH operating system this June.

Multitasking, the ability to listen to PANDORA or the ball game while running another app, will only be available for the IPHONE 3GS and later.

Users can also look forward to an IBOOKS EBOOK reader for the iPhone, a new multiplayer centralized gaming service and a tap function to zoom in on digital video.

Apple is also introducing the IAD turnkey ad plug in for developers, allowing ads to be served to individual apps while they're running.

The new IPAD will receive an upgrade of its own sometime this fall allowing it to multitask as well.
