THE FOX BROADCASTING COMPANY and THE NEW YORK TELEVISION FESTIVAL (NYTVF) are partnering for the FOX-NYTVF COMEDY SCRIPT CONTEST open to all aspiring television writers who currently do not have any contractual commitments with other studios.
Original 30 minute comedy scripts will be considered starting June 2nd, 2008 and the deadline is June 13th, 2008 or whenever 1,500 scripts have been received, whichever comes first.
The final winning writer will receive $25,000 and a development agreement with FOX.
