Amercians Shy Away From Big-Screen HD Sets
The flagging economy has put a crimp in the sales of HDTVs that are 40 inches and larger, according to February data from PACIFIC MEDIA ASSOCIATES, a research firm.
Sales of 30 to 34-inch LCDs jumped from 16% of the market in January to 24% in February while the market share of sets sized 40 to 49 inches dropped from 38% to 32%, the firm reported.
