(From Cynopsis)
FACEBOOK took some major steps toward shoring up privacy concerns of its 67 million users and confirmed that a new chat application is in the works.
New privacy controls, launching this morning, allow subcategories of friends to be created with separate filters set for each that limit their access to your content.
Users can also choose to blacklist certain people or friends.
FACEBOOK CHAT, planned to launch in the coming weeks, will act as an overlay that sits at the bottom of a user's web browser enabling one-on-one MEEBO-style chats.
