The decision to drop tedious registration requirements and give CBS audience network members and other affiliated sites one-click access seems to have paid off.
Traffic to CBS SPORTS.COM's NCAA MARCH MADNESS ON DEMAND section spiked 122% during the first day of the tournament, according to CBS INTERACTIVE, with a total of 1.75 million uniques loading the video player.
CBS also reported 571,297 VIP registrants (up 22% from a year ago) as well as 1.22 million clicks on the new BOSS BUTTON, which reveals goofy consumption trends.
