HEWITT SOUNDS OFF

(From Cynopsis)

60 MINUTES creator DON HEWITT is putting together an internet-based news magazine show to try and encourage younger viewers to get interested in news.

SOUND OFF (a working title) will consist of a collection of video op-eds about current issues.

Hewitt is launching the site under the banner THE HEWITT GROUP, with his son STEVEN, former president of HALLMARK ENTERTAINMENT, and 60 MINUTES producer HARRY MOSES attached.

Hewitt pitched his idea to a group of film students at NYU
last week.
