(From The USA Today -- By Michael Hiestand)
FRANK CALIENDO, on FOX's NFL PREGAME SHOW -- "Did you hear about the commercial TERRY BRADSHAW turned down? Neither did I."
GREG GUMBEL, signing off CBS' SUNDAY NFL COVERAGE -- "You've been a great audience. Drive safely." Nice to see anything break TV football's predictability.
With other ESPN pundits citing OHIO STATE's home-field advantage Saturday and picking THE BUCKEYES to beat TEXAS, MARK MAY said,
"I don't care if they play in back of ESPN, TEXAS will win." Mark, those internal ESPN MEMOS about where ESPN eventually wants to relocate big games are still hush-hush.
[Besides, in back of ESPN is where most of us park now Mark.
I don't know how well that would go over.]
