(From The Hartford Courant -- By Pat Seremet)
Three reality shows are beating the bushes of America in search of their next participants, zap2it.com reports.
Good-looking, successful guys might consider themselves for THE BACHELOR. Producers are looking for "the man of every woman's dreams," which a press release from producer TELEPICTURES defines as "a handsome, ambitious, charming, successful guy who is looking to settle down." Details are at thebachelor.tv.
NBC is also sending minions of THE APPRENTICE to cities across the country in search of contestants for the show's fifth edition, debuting in early 2006. Sixteen locations, ranging from New York to Anchorage, are hosting tryouts in July. Applications are at NBC.com.
Finally, MARTHA STEWART, who will have her own APPRENTICE in the fall, is looking for a few bad cooks. Her forthcoming daytime show is on the hunt for the "Worst Chef In America," the idea being that a few lessons from Stewart will help turn that person into a good cook. For details, email worstcooks.@yahoo.com.
