Q: Do women think it's cool or lame when the man they're dating makes them a mix CD?
A: Once upon a time, the mix tape was a 10-hour labor of love. When a boy gave me a tape in high school, I knew that from that point on, I could make him carry my purse and fetch my books any old time I pleased. Now, buring a mix is a couple of minutes of dragging and clicking. In adulthood, it's sweet and thoughful, not a pathetic declaration of love. As for the music -- when in doubt, include some MOTOWN. If she doesn't appreciate MOTOWN, she isn't worth dating.
