Undoubtedly, INSTINCT is the most important post production tool to be shown at NAB 2005. Forget for a moment that it's targeted at news folks to make newsroom video editing more efficient by giving journalists the tools and simplicity they need. INSTINCT has the potential to change editing for everyone.
Here's the big question -- How did you learn to write a video script? Like most of us, probably on a piece of paper (vertical) with audio on one side and a video description on the other side back in our college days. Now think about editing video in a vertical format like that. No horizontal timelines, no disconnect between video, audio, and script.
It's intuitive -- but INSTINCT is a much better name.
