NBC NEWS' KELLY O'DONNELL has been named WHITE HOUSE correspondent for NBC, effective immediately, NBC NEWS President NEAL SHAPIRO announced today. O'Donnell will join NBC NEWS' Chief White House correspondent DAVID GREGORY in covering the BUSH/CHENEY ADMINISTRATION, reporting for TODAY, as well as for NBC NIGHTLY NEWS WITH BRIAN WILLIAMS, MSNBC and all other NBC NEWS programs.
Kelly O'Donnell replaces NORAH O'DONNELL who has been named Chief Washington correspondent for NBC NEWS' 24-hour cable channel, MSNBC. In addition, Norah has been named a contributing correspondent for NBC's top-rated TODAY SHOW.
[Whatever their new job duties entail, both Kelly and Norah make watching the news better.]
