The winners were announced last evening at the THE 26th ANNUAL SPORTS EMMY AWARDS. The ceremony was run by the NATIONAL TELEVISION ACADEMY at the FREDERICK P. ROSE HALL, the new home of JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER in New York City. Leading sports broadcasters, athletes and executives attended the star-studded ceremony.
Here are the accolades ESPN garnered Monday evening:
* SPORTSCENTER won for BEST DAILY STUDIO SHOW.
* MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL won for BEST LIVE SERIES.
* THE GREAT OUTDOOR GAMES won for BEST LIVE AUDIO.
* ESPN 25 won for BEST GRAPHIC DESIGN.
* SPORTSCENTER won in the BEST LONG FEATURE category for the BEN COMEN FEATURE.
* DICK ENBERG received the DICK SCHAAP WRITING AWARD for a piece during ESPN's WIMBELDON coverage.
* ABC SPORTS (and our friend SAMMY SILVER) won an Emmy for PRODUCTION DESIGN/ART DIRECTION for his 2004 WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS STOMPED TEASE.

Hopefully you can bring one home for the 2005 World Figure Skating Championships. In the meantime you have the Visionary Award.
