NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH has decided to wait indefinitely on releasing its first-ever AVERAGE COMMERCIAL MINUTE MIT DATA FILE SERVICE, measuring the number of people watching commercial minutes.
The service, which was delayed from its original release date, was scheduled to begin December 11th.
The delay is presumably due to disagreements between Nielsen clients and how they would like to see the data configured regarding DVR vs. live commercial minutes.
Nielsen plans to schedule a meeting with clients to discuss the best configuration for the data and after that will figure out a date to roll out the new service.
