As of next year THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL will only accept IMX for SD and HDCAM SR for HD.
[Yep, you read that right SR!]

Last year, NBC got rid of most of its HDCAM VTRs -- the ones previously used on LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN. They've been replaced with HDCAM SR decks.

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (SNL) has been HDCAM SR from the start this season.
