The REAL Pros are the ones smart enough to know the value of top gear.

I see it EVERYWHERE -- even magicians in Vegas.

The best ones have the best rigs.

Of course, if you play a STRAT it don't make you JIMI any more than my SUPER CLASSICS make me BUDDY, GENE or JOE (that's RICH, KRUPA and MORELLO).

Short answer -- get the best gear you can, ladle your talent and ability ON TOP of good gear, not overcoming it.
