Not So "MIGHTY" MOUSE

I got an APPLE GIFT CARD for Christmas and used it to buy an APPLE MIGHTY MOUSE.

It took a little getting used to. Now I really like the feel and the little rollerball.

Here's the bad news -- I'm on my THIRD one!

The first one had a problem where the cursor would just sort of randomly jump to a different part of the screen. That may have been a "user" problem since I was using it on a mousepad that had a strange surface.

An APPLE STORE swapped it out with no paperwork.

My second one didn't have this problem as I stopped using that mousepad. But then it stopped scrolling up. I went back to using another mouse I previously liked very much but now didn't since I got used to the Apple one.

So I brought in the second Mighty Mouse. Again, it was swapped no paperwork -- but they did hook it up to confirm that it was not scrolling up.

We'll see how this third one holds up.

They had some of these at DIRECTV on their FCP systems.
If they invite me back to work, I'll see how the Mighty Mouse holds up under the harsh environment of editing.
