ESPN will unveil a new franchise, titled ESPNU FULL CIRCLE, when several of its media platforms present coverage of the North Carolina/Duke Men's Basketball Game March 4th.
ESPN will air traditional game coverage, while ESPN2 will present the game from the "Above the Rim" camera, and ESPN360 will offer a stats-driven broadband presentation.
ESPNU, which celebrates its first anniversary that day, will present the game with cameras located in and focused on the Duke student section.
ESPN International will offer game coverage to about
120 countries.
There will also be pre and post-game coverage across the various media assets. There will also be coverage on ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD, as well as MOBILE ESPN, ESPN.com and ESPNews.
In addition, viewing parties will be held at various ESPN ZONE restaurants.
ESPN Senior Vice President/Programming Planning And Development DAVID BERSON said, "The Full Circle concept will continue. This is just the first of what we foresee as a
long-term concept, and we're exploring other ideas to implement down the road."
