(From The Avid Yahoo User's Group)
I knew a Professor of Music from a Montreal University who had
a weird polarity around her body that fried or knocked out of kilter any electronics she was suppose to be using.
She was into electronic music and had to sit about 5 or 6 feet from the gear. Often times, others had to do the work for her, otherwise she would fry the computer she was using.
I remember cutting some video for an installation she was involved in. She eventually had to leave the edit suite so we could finally get some work done.
Poor woman.
I wonder if there's a blend of coffee that can help with this?
This may also be a complementary effect to that which most electronic maintenance techs experience -- devices work fine in their presence, then crap out when they leave the room.
Just extreme ends of the same phenomenon.
[As Bill Smallfield and Dan Stay can attest, I possess this same kind of human polarity around computers.]
