(From The USA Today -- By Gene Sloan)
Looking for a pristine beach getaway for the FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND, typically the biggest beach weekend of the year?
Consider GRAYTON BEACH STATE PARK on the FLORIDA PANHANDLE. The sugary stretch of sand east of PENSACOLA is among the 55 beaches on the CLEAN BEACHES COUNCIL's annual "clean beach" list, which was released this week.
Others on the non-profit beach group list include:
Gulf Shores Beach, Alabama
Bethany Beach, Delaware
Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida
Isle Of Palms, South Carolina
Beaches must meet COUNCIL STANDARDS for sand cleanliness, water quality, beach safety, and several dozen other factors.
A full list of the clean beaches is available at the organization's website, www.cleanbeaches.org.

That beach is close to where I grew up. It is very clean. But its geting crowded over the years, I mean nothing like these want-a-be CT beaches, but still its getting a little crowded but a great place to vaction.
