BEN AFFLECK and JENNIFER GARNER -- aka BENNIFER II -- were married Wednesday on the white sandy beaches of THE TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS and are expecting their first child, their publicists confirm.
Affleck, 32, and Garner, 33, tied the knot on PARROY CAT, an exclusive resort that is a favorite with stars, US WEEKLY first reported. Guests included Garner's ALIAS co-star VICTOR GARBER.
The quiet wedding comes on the heels of the stars' previous high-profile relationships. Affleck and pop diva JENNIFER LOPEZ, dubbed BENNIFER by celeb watchers, called off their September 2003 wedding after an intensely publicized romance. Garner briefly dated ALIAS co-star MICHAEL VARTAN after her marriage to actor SCOTT FOLEY ended in divorce last year.
Though Garner has been sporting an obvious "bump" for weeks, Thursday was the first time her publicist confirmed that the actress is pregnant. She is due this fall, US WEEKLY reports.
Affleck and Garner have been dating for about a year. They co-starred in the 2002 action movie DAREDEVIL. Garner has been in VANCOUVER recently shooting her new film, CATCH AND RELEASE.
PARROT CAY, where villas start at $1,595 a night, is a hot spot for such celebs as then-couple BRITNEY SPEARS and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, PAUL McCARTNEY, BARBARA STREISAND, JULIA ROBERTS, SANDRA BULLOCK and BRUCE WILLIS, who owns a condo there.
