The Love Of My Work

ANTONIO STRADIVARI, the legendary violin maker, began making superior violins even as an apprentice.

Over the years, his various instruments were so admired that he became famous throughout much of Europe.

Rumors began to circulate of a secret, known only to Antonio, that gave a STRADIVARIUS it's magnificent sound.

Near the end of his long life, Antonio was visited by a priest who also was a fellow music lover.

The priest was concerned of this rumor and cautioned Antonio that if indeed there is a secret, what a great loss it would be to humanity unless it was revealed soon.

Antonio listened patiently then replied, "Yes, I suppose there is a secret."

It is simply, "the love of my work."
