As it puts the final touches on its state-of-the-art control room, CBS NEWS later this month plans to start airing THE CBS EVENING NEWS WITH KATIE COURIC in HD.
The network, which has delayed its HD news rollout pending the completion of the control room and other technology improvements, in September plans to launch the HD version of 60 MINUTES and in 2009 will begin showing both 48 HOURS and CBS SUNDAY MORNING in HD.
