U.S. OPEN Goes Primetime

THE U.S. OPEN -- we're talking golf here -- is going primetime.

This year's tournament played at TORREY PINES in California, will get its fourth and final round aired in primetime on NBC for the first time ever, reports THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

While runover has often taken this tournament (and others) into prime, this marks the first time it will intentionally be played in primetime.
