(From Cynopsis)
Reports are circulating that SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has finally agreed to sell the digital rights to the BEATLES catalog in an exclusive deal with APPLE, worth anywhere from $400 million (UPI) to $600 million (TELEGRAPH).
The Beatles songs have long been considered THE HOLY GRAIL of digital music platforms, but legal disputes between the surviving Beatles, EMI, APPLE CORPS and APPLE COMPUTERS have complicated matters.
This time the rumor may turn out to be true, given that Sir Paul is in the midst of a royally expensive divorce that could cost him upwards of 30 million pounds.
