GEORGE LUCAS told THE LOS ANGELES TIMES yesterday he was working on a STAR WARS spin-off, live action series for television that does not include LUKE SKYWALKER or DARTH VADER, and in fact is more about robots than familiar characters.
This is not to be confused with the Lucas' other TV project, an animated series called STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS.
