RICHARD DEITSCH from SI.COM reports, DAN PATRICK said he has "talked to (NBC UNIVERSAL AND OLYMPICS CHAIRMAN) DICK EBERSOL about covering the Olympics" next summer.
Patrick -- "Ebersol said, 'Do you want to go to Beijing? I don't know what you'll do, but I'll find a spot for you.' I said, 'Yeah, I’d like to.'"
Patrick cannot appear on TV during the NFL season as part of his departure from ESPN.
