APPLE reported profit jumped 73% and quarterly revenue climbed 24% to $5.41 billion on strong sales of IPODS and MAC COMPUTERS.
It did not disclose the exact number of IPHONES sold (mentioning 270,000 iPhones and "related accessories sold,") but AT&T's 146,000 number had an adverse effect on the stock this week.
