(From 11Alive.com -- Julie Wolfe reports)
Wednesday's rush hour turned into a noisy response to PRESIDENT BUSH's veto.
"When is Bush going to get it? How many people out in the streets is it going to take," HEIKE BRAXTON, a military mom, said.
An eclectic group beating drums, blowing whistles, and waving signs crowded the Moreland Avenue and Freedom Parkway intersection. It organized by MOVEON.ORG and GEORGIANS AGAINST ESCALATION IN IRAQ.
Across town, KIMBERLY DONALDSON spreads her message
a very different way.
"What I'm hearing from these military guys, and what I'm seeing in their faces, they really believe in what they’re doing over there," Donaldson said.
She stands beside her MEMORIAL JEEP. At first glance, it looks like a strange paint job. A closer look shows it's covered with names of soldiers killed in the war on terror.
"I was just getting so sick of the politics," she said. "I was afraid these soldiers were being forgotten, and that was
very disturbing to me."
