ABC NEWS Division Says Goodbye To Award-Winner SHELLEY ROSS

(From The New York Post -- By Liz Smith)

Hard to believe, but the day has come when the dynamic SHELLEY ROSS has actually left the ABC NEWS division that she had helped to define.

The award-winning Ms. Ross may not be a household name to viewers, but her stewardship as executive producer of GOOD MORNING AMERICA put the network within spitting distance of the venerable TODAY show.

Shelley also helped PRIMETIME LIVE before leaving the alphabet network.

Like many another excellent chief, her far-reaching influence reverberates long after the hoopla and downside of her leave-taking.

This petite tiger of TV will likely soon appear bolder and better than ever, probably among ABC's competitors.

I can't say what I hear, but she is being hotly pursued.
