(From Cynopsis)
Citing it was an "ill-considered project" NEWS CORPORATION Chairman/CEO, RUPERT MURDOCH said his company has canceled publication of O.J. SIMPSON's book IF I DID IT and the two-part FOX broadcast network special that was scheduled to air next week based on the book, where Simpson talks in theory about his role in the 1994 slayings
of his ex-wife and RON GOLDMAN.
In recent days, several FOX affiliates decided to not air the special stating the subject matter was in poor taste.
Murdoch himself further apologized for "any pain this has caused the families of Ron Goldman and NICOLE BROWN-SIMPSON."
