THE WILHELM SCREAM Compilation
Here's a compilation of movies using THE WILHEM SCREAM,
beginning with it's first intended use in the 1953 movie
THE CHARGE AT FEATHER RIVER.
This is movie the sound was originally recorded for.
You can hear in the compilation of clips how the sound has been used by sound designers in different applications over the years.
[Some are pretty funny.]
A while ago, I discussed THE WILHELM SCREAM sound effect and how it has a "cult following" amongst sound designers. Often times, they place the scream in a project they're mixing to help carry on it's legacy.
Click here to read the original WILHELM SCREAM post and hear the scream.
Kraig Bailey, thanks for the post.
