In the first of many anticipated head-to-head contests of the new fall season, GREY'S ANATOMY on ABC last Thursday night beat the season premiere of CSI on CBS.
GREY'S pulled a dandy 10.9/26 A18-49, far out-weighing CSI's 7.5/18.
And while ABC and CBS may be banking on ER getting a little long in the tooth, the veteran series ER is still strong enough to win its premiere time period with a 6.8/18, beating freshman SIX DEGREES on ABC with a 5.8/15, and SHARK on CBS with a 4.2/11.
