WPHL-17, formerly WB-17, will be known as myphl17.
On September 5th it begins broadcasting MyNetworkTV, another silly name if you ask us, produced by parent company TRIBUNE.
The best part is that 17's 10 pm newscast, produced by NBC-10 staff since December, is now called myphl17 News at Ten Powered by NBC-10.
Nice ring to it, huh?
