ESPN is planning to launch several features on its web site this fall, coinciding with the debut of MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL (MNF) on the net.
The features include a revamped SPORTS NATION site that is patterned after MySpace.com and a MONDAY NIGHT SURVIVAL game that pits the fans of the two MNF teams against each other in a weeklong series of challenges, such as trivia and games.
Each feature will roll out in September.
ESPN plans to roll out similar "Survival" sites surrounding the net's NBA and NASCAR programming.
