(From The Hartford Courant -- By Roger Catlin)
Once she hosted a travel/food show with her boyfriend of six years, DWEEZIL ZAPPA.
Now LISA LOEB is back on TV and looking for a new boyfriend in NO. 1 SINGLE (Sundays at 10 pm on E!)
With her biological clock set on alarm, she meets a string of men in New York looking for the right one (who doesn't mind the lingering cameras).
"I've been working probably too much on my career and not enough on my personal life," says Loeb, 37. After shooting a pilot, "I realized that the experience of doing the show actually was not invading my personal life. It actually gave me access to a whole other group of people."
Instantly, Loeb becomes the smartest woman featured on the channel of largely bimbos (THE PLAYBOY BUNNIES, THE GASTINEAU GIRLS, PARIS and NICOLE).
And the production company, which produced AMISH IN THE CITY, is likely to do a decent job, too.
