GIBSON A Skater For Life

When she joined the cast of SKATING WITH CELEBRITIES, pop singer DEBORAH GIBSON didn't just find a new skill, she also found a new hobby.

"Every trip I've taken since the end of the show, my skates have come in my suitcase with me," Gibson says. "Now, at 35, I have a hobby that has nothing to do with what I do for a living, which is awesome."

That was her motivation in learning to skate competitively.

"It's like a great excuse, a great reason to learn -- to learn something," she says. "My new goal is to do an ice-skating BROADWAY musical."

SKATING WITH CELEBRITIES started this past Wednesday on FOX.
