A memorial service for PETER JENNINGS, the ABC NEWS anchor who died of LUNG CANCER in early August, will be held at 11 am
Tuesday, September 20th, at CARNEGIE HALL.
While the bulk of people expected to attend will be there by invitation only, ABC NEWS announced that a limited number of free tickets, two per person, will be made available to the public on a first-come basis at
THE CARNEGIE HALL BOX OFFICE from 8-9:30 am on the day of the memorial.
No TV or radio crews or photographers will be admitted to the service, but ABC NEWS said it will feed excerpts of the program to news organizations after the service ends.
