LORENZO LAMAS -- who has been married four times -- was supposed to take a fifth stroll down the aisle with PLAYBOY PLAYMATE BARBARA MOORE last Saturday, but the wedding was abruptly called off that morning.

An insider tattled to THE NEW YORK POST -- "Lorenzo surprised Barbara at her bachelorette party Friday night and caught her in a compromising position with a male stripper."

Lamas, speaking via his agent, said, "The two of us have chosen to take different paths."

Instead of getting married, Lamas spent Saturday afternoon lunching at the pool of THE BEVERLY HILLS HILTON HOTEL with his mother, ARLENE DAHL.
