In Death, He Gets Respect

(From The Hartford Courant -- By Pat Seremet)

Former HARTFORD WHALERS owner HOWARD BALDWIN, who scored a critical success with RAY, now will produce a film biography of the late comedian RODNEY DANGERFIELD. Baldwin and his wife, KAREN BALDWIN, on Tuesday purchased Dangerfield's life rights as well as rights to Dangerfield's autobiography IT'S NOT EASY BEIN' ME.

The Baldwins also are producing an adaptation of THE LEGACY OF LUNA, based on JULIA BUTTERFLY HILL's bestseller about living for two years in a redwood to prevent a lumber company from cutting the tree.
