DIANA, JFK JR. Had A Thing? (If You Believe SIMONE)

DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES enjoyed a brief romance with JOHN F. KENNEDY JR., according to the late royal's friend and clairvoyant SIMONE SIMMONS.

In Simmons' forthcoming book DIANA: THE LAST WORD, the natural healer tells of her shock at hearing Diana's alleged confession she had slept with Kennedy in New York City's CARLYLE HOTEL in 1995 -- the same place the rumored tryst between his father and MARILYN MONROE took place.

In an extract from the book, Simmons writes, "Diana had met him when he was trying to persuade her to give an interview to his magazine GEORGE. She turned down the request for the interview but agreed to meet him in her suite at the Carlyle Hotel.

"She told me, 'We started talking, one thing led to another -- and we ended up in bed together. It was pure chemistry.'

"The following year, he married CAROLYN BESSETTE, and Diana wrote to wish him well."
