DESTINY'S CHILD is splitting up, but not before it finishes its DESTINY FULFILLED...AND LOVING IT tour, which kicks off July 7th.
The trio of BEYONCE KNOWLES, KELLY ROWLAND, and MICHELLE WILLIAMS said they felt it was time to "pursue our personal goals and solo efforts in earnest."
The group came together 15 years ago in Houston, and Beyonce's father, MATTHEW KNOWLES, got the name for the group from THE BIBLE. The group sold more than 40 million records around the world, with hit songs like JUMPIN', JUMPIN' and SAY MY NAME.
Going their separate ways had its roots back in 2003, when Knowles released her single DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE, making her a megastar.
