(From The Hartford Courant -- By Pat Seremet)
The videotape doesn't lie. RUSSELL CROWE evidently was armed with more than a phone when he let it fly at the hotel concierge at a NEW YORK HOTEL earlier this month. After he hurled the phone, he picked up a ceramic vase and hurled that, too, then took a bow and went into a karate stance.
Crowe was frustrated because he couldn't get an international long-distance line, and when concierge NESTOR "JOSH" ESTRADA said "hatever" with an attitude, that threw Crowe over the edge.
Estrada's lawyer is expected to file a civil lawsuit against Crowe, who said on DAVID LETTERMAN's show that his outburst was the result of "jet lag, loneliness and adrenaline."
