ESPN on June 30th launches its X GAMES 11 CAMPAIGN, via GROUND ZERO, L.A., which "features preacher GARY BARLOW spreading the word of X," according to KEITH LAIR of the SAN GABRIEL VALLEY TRIBUNE.
The ads show four X GAMES athletes -- skateboarder DANNY WAY, who "gets his religion by tasting chocolate pudding," surfer ROB MACHADO, BMX rider DAVE MIRRA, and motocross rider JEREMY McGRATH.
McGrath, along with guitarist SLASH and ESPN's LINDA COHN, "perform in the X choir."
X GAMES 11 will be held August 4-7, 2005 in Los Angeles.
[Slash and Linda Cohn?!? "Chocolate Pudding?" Oh Lord! This type of "religious service" will not benefit anyone's health. Heaven help our network.]
