Shades Of GREY

The ratings have been steady, so I know you're all watching GREY'S ANATOMY! The steaminess between Meredith and Dr. McDreamy (Dr. Shepherd) is heating up (anatomy anyone?) as are the tensions amongst the interns. Hey, it IS sweeps -- what do you expect?

If you're looking for more ELLEN POMPEO (and I always am) you can catch her on THE ELLEN DeGENERES show on Tuesday (today)! It's syndicated so check your local listings. It airs here in Hartford on NBC-30 at 4 pm. (Gillian, thanks for the alert.)

As for GREY's -- Is Cristina pregnant (with Dr. Burke's baby)? Will the roommates retaliate against Meredith for keeping them awake while she and McDreamy have radical sex all night long? Will George ever tell Meredith he likes her? Will (Nazi) Dr. Bailey ever lighten up? With two more episodes left, you'll just have to watch.

In case you missed Sunday night's EPISODE 7, here are Meredith's ponderings. Again, she seems well on the mark.

GREY'S OPENING NARRATION
Okay, anyone who says you can sleep when you die, tell them to come talk to me after a few months as an intern. Of course, it’s not just the job that keeps us up all night. I mean, if life’s so hard already, why do we bring more trouble down on ourselves? What’s up with the need to hit the self-destruct button?

GREY'S ENDING NARRATION
Maybe we like the pain. Maybe we're wired that way...because without it, I don't know...maybe we just wouldn’t feel real. What’s that saying? "Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when I stop."
