Was that really NBC President JEFF ZUCKER -- who's busy trying to lift the network's fourth-place ranking with next fall's prime-time schedule -- swooping down to rip up and redo the TODAY show rundowns provided by new executive producer JIM BELL?
The once-untouchable TODAY show has been getting beat by ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA and former TODAY producer Zucker freely complains that the show has lost its edge.
[I guess Zucker is taking the "hands-on" approach.]
