GREY'S ANATOMY -- Season Finale

WOW! What a season-finale episode of GREY'S ANATOMY!

George gets caught in the bathroom by Izzie thinking he's "playing with little Jimmy and the twins" (by the way how hot did KATHERINE HEIGL look during this scene), a syphillis outbreak occurs, a medical worker demonstrates to the nurses and doctors of Seattle Grace how to properly use a condom on a banana, Izzie and Cristina perform an unauthorized autospy, Chief Webber reluctantly confides to Dr. Derek Shepherd about his own medical concerns, Meredith confesss to Shepherd about her mom's Alzheimers, and (best of all) two FIGHT CLUB references by the interns -- "Meredith, this is a fight club. Nobody talks about it!"

[Erik and Gillian I know you were laughing as well! Ok, ok -- I know I have to see that film soon!]

All that chock-full in another great GREY'S episode and I haven't even mentioned the real bomb dropped at the end!

I'm speechless. Poor Meredith...

It's going to be a long off-season for me on Sunday nights with no GREY'S ANATOMY. Meredith's weekly ponderings have been a great start for me to each week. I hope you've enjoyed them, as well as the show. See you in the fall.

GREY'S OPENING NARRATION
Secrets can't hide in science. Medicine has a way of exposing the lies. Within the walls of the hospital, the truth is stripped bare. How we keep our secrets outside the hospital -- well, that's a little different. One thing is certain. Whatever it is we're trying to hide, we're never ready for that moment when the truth gets naked. That's the problem with secrets -- like misery, they love company. They pile up and up until they take over everything...until you don't have room for anything else. Until you're so full of secrets, you like you're going to burst.

GREY'S ENDING NARRATION
The thing people forget is how good it can feel when you finally set secrets free. Whether good or bad, at least they're out in the open -- like it or not. And once your secrets are out in the open, you don't have to hide behind them anymore. The problem with secrets is -- even when you think you're in control, you're not.
