ABC's NBA Ratings Continue To Decline

ABC earned a 3.8/7 overnight NIELSEN RATING Saturday night for its coverage of HEAT/WIZARDS Game Four.

Sunday’s PISTONS/PACERS Game Four earned a 4.0/9, down 37.5% from a 5.5/13 for the comparable SPURS/LAKERS Game Three last year.

ABC SPORTS VP/Media Relations MARK MANDEL, on the network’s rating being down a whopping 32.5% for first-round playoff games -- "We look at it pragmatically and know that year to year, depending on the teams, ratings will fluctuate."
